Position Summary
As a Workplace Technology Analyst, you will deliver front-line end user technology support across corporate office and mine site environments for a global resources client. You will be part of the Desktop Support team, collaborating with local and global support analysts, remote resolver teams, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
Mandatory Skills
· Strong Level 1/2 Desktop Support experience (face-to-face and remote)
· Operating system and application support across:
o Windows 10 & Windows 11
o Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
o Cisco Webex
· Mobile Device Management experience (Intune) supporting iOS and Android devices
· Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)
· Hardware asset management experience
· Strong communication and customer service skills with a focus on safety and user satisfaction
Roles And Responsibilities
· Provide Level 1/2 Desktop Support both onsite and remotely, resolving issues related to hardware, software, unified communications, printing, and mobile devices
· Log, manage, and track interactions, incidents, and service requests using ITSM tools in line with ITIL best practices
· Travel regularly to mine site locations to deliver in-person IT support and gain exposure to mining operations and technologies
· Maintain and update the asset management database with accuracy
· Drive continuous service and process improvements
· Deliver user training and education on IT best practices, security protocols, and effective technology usage
Qualifications/Certifications
· Certificate IV in Information Technology (minimum requirement)
· ITIL v4 Foundation (highly desirable)
· Additional desirable qualifications/skills:
o Azure experience
o PowerShell scripting
o Power Query or Power Automate familiarity
o macOS (OS X) support experience
o CompTIA A+ or tertiary qualification in IT
Salary Range: $85,000-95,000
