As a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java + React), you will make an impact by designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications across backend and frontend technologies. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and distributed development teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned to business needs.

What you need to have to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and React.js.
- Experience with RESTful services, API development, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in databases such as MySQL or Oracle, and web servers like Apache/Tomcat.
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, AJAX, and modern frameworks.
- Experience with development tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, IntelliJ, and Spring Tool Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional and offshore teams.
These will help you stand out:
- Experience in enterprise application development and full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Exposure to code quality and CI/CD tools such as SonarQube and Jenkins
- Experience in domain areas such as insurance or financial services
- Prior experience working in client-facing or onsite environments
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $89,000 – $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
