Job Summary
This early career position as a PE Maps professional focuses on improving digital mapping quality by analyzing location data validating map features and resolving content issues with strong spoken English communication. The role requires on site work from office in rotational shifts collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver accurate and reliable map experiences for global users in the hi tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Analyze digital map data to identify gaps inconsistencies and improvement opportunities that enhance routing accuracy and user navigation experiences.
- Review and validate geographic features such as roads landmarks and points of interest to ensure precise representation in production mapping systems.
- Execute defined mapping workflows and standard operating procedures with high attention to detail to maintain data quality and operational efficiency.
- Use strong spoken English skills to interpret mapping guidelines document findings and clearly communicate issues or clarifications to peers and supervisors.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including quality analysts and map data specialists to resolve content errors and refine mapping rules.
- Investigate user reported map issues by tracing data sources reproducing scenarios and proposing data corrections that drive measurable quality improvements.
- Apply basic analytical reasoning to prioritize tasks manage assigned queues and meet productivity and quality targets within rotational shift schedules.
- Monitor performance dashboards and feedback reports to identify recurring patterns in map defects and support continuous process optimization.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by updating internal documentation and suggesting refinements to process checklists based on daily operational insights.
- Adhere to data security privacy and compliance standards while handling location based information to protect user and enterprise interests.
- Support the integration of hi tech domain innovations in mapping such as new data capture methods by carefully executing pilot tasks and reporting outcomes.
- Participate in calibration and review sessions to align understanding of mapping guidelines and to maintain consistency in data labeling and decision making.
- Assist in incident response for critical mapping issues by quickly validating impact executing prescribed fixes and confirming successful resolution.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate effective spoken English communication skills to collaborate with team members understand complex instructions and present clear status updates.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and analytical thinking enabling accurate evaluation of map data and reliable identification of subtle content discrepancies.
- Show willingness to work in a rotational shift environment from the office maintaining punctuality reliability and consistent productivity across schedules.
- Display foundational computer literacy and comfort with online tools spreadsheets and internal mapping applications to execute daily tasks efficiently.
- Preferably bring awareness of hi tech industry trends and digital platforms supporting better understanding of modern mapping use cases and user expectations.
- Adapt quickly to changing guidelines and process updates incorporating feedback constructively to improve accuracy and throughput over time.
