About the Role
As a Test Lead / SDET (AI Testing), you will make an impact by driving AI-led quality engineering transformation and accelerating product delivery through optimized testing strategies. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and collaborate with agile squads, developers, product owners, and engineering leadership.
In This Role, You Will
• Assess existing agile teams and design strategies to reduce QA cycle time and enable faster product releases
• Leverage Agentic AI testing solutions for test case generation, automation scripting, impact analysis, and regression optimization
• Integrate AI capabilities across manual and automated testing processes, including modernization of existing frameworks
• Drive adoption of tools such as Playwright and GitHub Copilot in test automation workflows
• Measure, articulate, and promote the ROI and business value of AI-driven testing solutions across agile teams

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
• Strong proficiency in API testing
• Proven experience with Agentic AI solutions (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin, or equivalent platforms)
• Experience leading or influencing test strategy and QA transformation initiatives
• Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate across cross-functional teams
These Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience in AI-driven test automation frameworks and accelerators
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration
• Knowledge of test data management and reporting automation
• Experience optimizing regression suites and test coverage
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and ROI to business stakeholders

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 19, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100– $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
