Senior Product Data & Analytics Engineer (On Site)
Serve as an expert to design develop and enhance analytical and product information management solutions that enable precise business analysis and planning delivering reliable data products that support decision making for internal stakeholders and clients while ensuring scalability security and maintainability.

In this role, you will:
- Design robust software components that support business analysis workflows and product information management capabilities to ensure reliable data processing for planning activities and operational reporting.
- Develop analytics driven features that transform raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders with strong emphasis on accuracy performance and usability within existing platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts and planning teams to translate complex functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation tasks that align with enterprise standards.
- Implement high quality code using modern engineering practices including unit testing code reviews and continuous integration to maintain predictable delivery cycles.
- Optimize existing product information management processes by improving data ingestion validation and transformation logic to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
- Integrate internal and external data sources into analytics solutions that provide holistic views of product performance customer behavior and business outcomes.
- Conduct detailed impact analysis for new features and changes to ensure that upstream and downstream systems reports and data models remain consistent and reliable.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams in a hybrid environment to resolve issues manage dependencies and ensure that solution designs meet nonfunctional requirements such as scalability and security.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation that describes solution architecture data flows and configuration choices to support maintainability and knowledge sharing among teams.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents in analytics and product information management modules to restore service quickly and prevent recurrence through targeted improvements.
- Guide peers on best practices in business analysis driven development such as requirement traceability and acceptance criteria definition to improve alignment between technology and business goals.
- Engage with stakeholders from operations and finance to validate that implemented planning and analytics features deliver measurable value and reflect real world processes.
- Explore domain patterns from asset and wealth management where relevant to design software modules that can support portfolio level data structures and performance analytics in the future.

Location: Fort Mill - SC

What you need to have to be considered:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to business analysis and planning processes so that solutions consistently reflect organizational objectives and constraints.
- Apply deep understanding of product information management concepts including data quality governance attributes and lifecycle states to build systems that keep product records accurate and trustworthy.
- Use advanced analytics techniques and data engineering practices to design models queries and dashboards that enable stakeholders to monitor key indicators and make timely strategic decisions.
- Draw upon any background in asset and wealth management to interpret financial instruments data flows and regulatory considerations when crafting technical solutions in related programs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in working within a hybrid model by coordinating effectively during onsite and remote collaboration sessions while maintaining productivity and accountability.
- Exhibit strong communication and documentation skills that allow complex technical topics to be explained in accessible language for both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $55K – $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
