Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled BI / Analytics Developer with strong experience in Tableau and Snowflake. The candidate will be responsible for building dashboards, analyzing data, and supporting business teams with insights.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and KPIs
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using Snowflake
- Write complex SQL queries and CTEs for data preparation and analysis
- Build business-ready data models, views, and dynamic tables in Snowflake
- Develop and optimize dashboards for better performance and usability
- Create dashboards for key metrics such as:
- DORA metrics
- Customer sentiment
- Code quality and defects
- Jira issue tracking and resolution metrics
- Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy
- Support quarterly and monthly reporting dashboards
- Work on dashboard performance tuning (reduce load times, improve efficiency)
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Looker Studio for tracking and reporting
- Implement access control and security for dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, and business users
- Support AI-driven analytics using Snowflake Cortex (basic exposure preferred)
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in:
- Tableau (Dashboard Development, Data Blending, Reporting)
- Snowflake (SQL, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing)
- Good knowledge of:
- SQL, data analysis, and large datasets
- Data visualization best practices
- Experience with:
- Performance optimization of dashboards
- Data validation and testing
- Familiarity with:
- Google Analytics / Tag Manager / Looker Studio (nice to have)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in analytics/reporting projects
- Knowledge of BI tools like SAP BO or OBIEE (optional but good to have)
- Tableau Certification is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
