Job Summary
Serve as a senior test analyst specializing in MES validation and automation for hybrid work model projects ensuring high quality manufacturing execution solutions through rigorous functional integration and AI assisted testing. Apply expertise in Camstar MES platforms and multi layer integration to improve reliability reduce defects and support efficient supply chain operations while collaborating with diverse global teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for MES validation that align with project scope regulatory expectations and enterprise quality standards ensuring reliable delivery of manufacturing execution capabilities across hybrid work environments.
- Develop and maintain detailed automated test suites for MES applications using suitable frameworks focusing on regression coverage repeatability and rapid feedback to project teams to reduce release cycle times and production defects.
- Perform thorough manual functional and integration testing for MES features where automation is not yet feasible documenting clear test conditions reproducible steps and evidence to support release readiness decisions.
- Validate and test MES L4 L3 and L2 integration flows across enterprise planning systems shop floor control systems and field devices ensuring accurate data exchange timing and transaction integrity for manufacturing and supply chain scenarios.
- Configure and validate Camstar MES features workflows and business rules in test environments ensuring that process configurations meet user requirements while upholding data integrity and traceability standards for regulated manufacturing contexts.
- Utilize generative AI tools in a compliant manner to accelerate test design test data generation and defect analysis while applying critical judgment to review AI generated outputs for accuracy relevance and risk.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts developers MES engineers and operations stakeholders to clarify requirements define acceptance criteria and proactively identify risks or gaps that could impact manufacturing continuity or supply chain visibility.
- Analyze test results and production like data patterns to identify systemic defects performance bottlenecks and integration issues then work with technical teams to prioritize and verify fixes that provide measurable operational improvements.
- Create and maintain clear test documentation including test plans test cases traceability matrices and execution reports that support audits and provide transparent evidence of validation coverage for all MES components.
- Provide mentoring and practical guidance to other test professionals on MES validation techniques automated testing practices and integration testing patterns fostering a culture of quality ownership across the delivery team.
- Engage in defect triage sessions and change review activities presenting well reasoned impact analyses and retest strategies that balance quality risk with project timelines for day shift hybrid operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance test automation frameworks test data management and environment stability thereby increasing efficiency across recurring MES validation cycles.
- Partner with manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders to understand process flows and key performance indicators ensuring that test scenarios reflect real operational conditions and help safeguard product quality and service reliability.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate extensive hands on experience in MES validation and automated testing with a proven track record of owning test design execution and reporting for complex enterprise scale implementations.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in manual MES validation activities including requirement analysis test case creation risk based prioritization and evidence collection suitable for regulated manufacturing environments.
- Show advanced skills in testing L4 L3 and L2 integration scenarios across planning manufacturing and shop floor systems with an ability to troubleshoot data flow discrepancies and interface failures effectively.
- Apply practical knowledge of generative AI in the context of software quality engineering using it to enhance test asset creation and analysis while maintaining strict review controls and compliance awareness.
- Demonstrate deep working knowledge of Camstar MES configuration object modeling and workflow behavior enabling precise validation of manufacturing processes and electronic records under varied operational conditions.
- Display solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes including work order management inventory tracking and quality events so that test coverage aligns with real world operational needs.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in written and spoken form to cross functional teams enabling timely decisions on release readiness and risk mitigation in a hybrid day shift setting.
- Maintain strong analytical and problem solving capabilities supported by a methodical approach to root cause analysis that helps reduce recurring defects and enhances overall MES ecosystem stability.
