Job Summary
Infra Technology Specialist role focused CFS / Configuration / Asset Management within a hybrid work model day shift and no travel requirement. The specialist will ensure reliable end user services robust incident resolution processes and controlled implementation of changes contributing to operational stability in an international environment with added advantage of experience in property and casualty insurance domain.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent and high quality remote desktop support to end users by diagnosing issues quickly and applying effective resolutions that minimize disruption to daily operations and business continuity
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for hardware and software incidents by using standardized tools and procedures that ensure accurate root cause identification and timely remediation for end user devices
- Manage incident queues within the defined service management platform by prioritizing tickets based on impact and urgency and ensuring clear communication to stakeholders from initial logging through closure
- Coordinate with application teams and infrastructure teams during complex incidents by gathering required technical details and facilitating collaborative problem solving that restores service within agreed timelines
- Monitor trends in recurring incidents by analyzing ticket data and documenting patterns that support proactive improvements in desktop configurations and support processes
- Administer the change lifecycle management process by preparing detailed change records performing impact assessment and validating risk controls to safeguard production environments during updates
- Execute approved changes in accordance with organizational policies by following implementation steps performing pre and post checks and confirming successful completion without unintended side effects
- Maintain and update procedural documentation for desktop support incident handling and change activities by capturing best practices and lessons learned that improve consistency across hybrid work arrangements
- Engage with business users during day shift operations by providing clear explanations of technical issues setting realistic expectations and ensuring that technology services enable productive work outcomes
- Support configuration and deployment of end user devices for hybrid working by managing remote access setups security controls and performance tuning that align with company standards for reliability and data protection
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to incident workflows change approval practices and remote support tools that increase efficiency and user satisfaction
- Align support work with company objectives by ensuring technology stability that enables core business functions and contributes positively to customer trust and wider social impact through dependable services
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong expertise in remote desktop support including operating system configuration application support and peripheral troubleshooting across distributed user locations
- Exhibit solid experience in structured incident management processes including ticket categorization prioritization escalation and communication according to defined service levels
- Apply practical knowledge of change lifecycle management by participating in change planning risk analysis testing coordination and post implementation review within enterprise environments
- Utilize familiarity with property and casualty insurance operations when applicable by understanding policy servicing claims and underwriting workflows to tailor support for domain specific applications
- Show proficiency in using service management platforms and monitoring tools by tracking incident status capturing change records and generating reports that support operational decision making
- Display capability in documenting procedures and knowledge articles by translating technical solutions into clear guidance that can be reused by peers and improve support coverage
- Reflect strong communication and collaboration skills suitable for hybrid work by engaging effectively with stakeholders through multiple channels and maintaining alignment on priorities and outcomes
