Guidewire Business Analyst – PolicyCenter
About the role
As a Guidewire Business Analyst – PolicyCenter, you will make an impact by driving strategic insurance transformation initiatives and delivering business capabilities across policy administration processes. You will be a valued member of the insurance transformation team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, quality assurance teams, underwriting teams, and policy operations partners to design and deliver Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and objectives.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution reviews.
- Analyze and support end-to-end PolicyCenter processes, including New Business, Quote & Bind, Policy Issuance, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, and Underwriting workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, and modernization programs while identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

What you need to have to be considered
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Guidewire InsuranceSuite projects, with a strong focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products, processes, and policy administration operations.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of the policy lifecycle, including New Business, Quote & Bind, Policy Issuance, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, and Underwriting processes.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams in Agile environments.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter ACE Certification (latest Cloud release).
These will help you stand out
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
- Experience supporting Guidewire Cloud transformations and modernization programs.
- Knowledge of Guidewire integrations and digital insurance platforms.
- Experience working closely with underwriting, policy operations, and business leadership teams.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency.

Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until August 8, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $115,000 CAD, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
