Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Service Line Specialist (Sales)

About the role
As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Service Line Specialist (Sales), you will make an impact by building and scaling Cognizant's OCI business across the UKI-EMEA region. You will originate net-new opportunities, lead strategic Oracle pursuits, and develop long-term enterprise relationships across cloud transformation, modernisation, managed services, AI, and multicloud initiatives. You will be a valued member of the Oracle and Cloud Sales team and work collaboratively with Oracle partners, solution architects, delivery teams, and senior client stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Build and grow strategic enterprise accounts across the UKI-EMEA region.
- Develop and manage a qualified OCI pipeline through direct sales activity and Oracle ecosystem relationships.
- Lead complex pursuits involving OCI, Oracle Database@Hyperscaler, Exadata, Cloud@Customer, cloud migrations, modernisation programmes, AI, and managed services.
- Establish trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and senior business executives.
- Partner with Oracle sales teams, solution architects, and delivery organisations to shape compelling and differentiated proposals.
- Own opportunities from origination through to closure.
- Achieve revenue, booking, and growth targets while contributing to Cognizant's strategic cloud growth objectives.

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring regular attendance at a Cognizant office and client locations in London.

What you need to have to be considered
- Significant enterprise technology sales and/or pre-sales experience with a proven track record of selling Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions.
- Demonstrated success originating net-new business and closing complex enterprise cloud transformation engagements.
- Strong network within Oracle and the broader enterprise customer ecosystem.
- Experience selling cloud transformation, infrastructure, managed services, database, or application modernisation solutions.
- Strong understanding of OCI, Oracle Database@Hyperscaler, Exadata, Cloud@Customer, AI/ML, and multicloud architectures.
- Executive presence with excellent consultative selling, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Consistent track record of achieving revenue, bookings, and growth targets.
- Ability to engage effectively with C-level executives and influence strategic technology decisions.
These will help you stand out
- Experience working in partnership with Oracle field sales and alliance organisations.
- Knowledge of enterprise cloud strategies across regulated and global industries.
- Experience leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits.
- Strong understanding of AI-driven cloud transformation and modern data platforms.
- Experience working within a global systems integrator or technology consulting organisation.
