Responsibilities
Design and implement robust data integration solutions that efficiently move and transform data across diverse systems using AWS cloud services and advanced SQL techniques.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database structures to improve performance reduce latency and ensure reliable access to critical operational and analytical data.Configure and maintain data catalog capabilities that provide clear data definitions lineage and standardized metadata to enhance data discovery and responsible reuse across teams.Collaborate with architects and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure scalable and maintainable application and data layer designs.Create reusable components and frameworks for data ingestion transformation and validation that improve consistency and reduce development effort across projects.Perform detailed root cause analysis on data and performance issues and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence and improve system stability.Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources while applying quality checks and governance controls that support accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.Document technical solutions data flows and configuration details in a clear and structured manner to support smooth handovers and long term maintainability.Collaborate with quality engineering teams to design test approaches data validation scenarios and performance benchmarks that reflect realistic production conditions.Mentor junior developers by sharing practical techniques for SQL tuning data modeling and AWS best practices that elevate overall team capability and delivery quality.Apply domain understanding in devices where applicable to design data structures and integration flows that reflect real world device behaviors and usage patterns.Coordinate effectively within the hybrid work model using online collaboration tools and structured communication practices to maintain alignment on deliverables.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to data pipelines monitoring setups and deployment processes that increase efficiency and resilience.
Qualifications
Demonstrate hands on expertise with AWS cloud services related to data storage processing and orchestration along with practical experience in hybrid delivery environments.Exhibit strong proficiency in SQL query design and performance tuning across large datasets and transactional workloads using industry standard relational databases.Show proven capability in implementing and managing data catalog solutions that support consistent metadata management data lineage tracking and data discovery.Display solid experience in data integration patterns including batch processing streaming and event driven approaches using contemporary integration tools.Possess practical knowledge of core SQL concepts such as indexing query optimization execution plans and normalization to support high performing systems.Bring familiarity with devices related domain concepts including telemetry data usage events and configuration records to inform effective data model and pipeline design.Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills that support clear explanation of technical choices tradeoffs and their impact on business outcomes.Show experience working in structured day shift environments with hybrid collaboration while adhering to security compliance and data privacy expectations.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or AWS Certified Developer Associate and any recognized SQL database performance tuning certification.
