Job Summary

Cloud architect role focused on designing and implementing secure scalable and resilient solutions on the AWS platform using services such as container registries managed databases messaging content delivery and automation tools while aligning with best practices hybrid work policies and business goals to deliver reliable cloud applications and data platforms for global stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust cloud architectures on the AWS platform that align with business goals and deliver highly available application and data solutions for global stakeholders.
  • Configure and manage container based workloads using cloud native orchestration services and enterprise container registries to ensure efficient deployment scaling and lifecycle management of microservices.
  • Architect and optimize managed relational and document database solutions that support transactional applications and analytical workloads while ensuring data integrity performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows using scalable extract transform and load tooling to enable reliable data ingestion cleansing and aggregation from diverse enterprise sources.
  • Implement secure and resilient content delivery solutions using advanced edge optimization capabilities that provide low latency access and strong protection for web and application assets across regions.
  • Configure and manage cloud security controls and protective services to safeguard applications and data from common threats while enforcing encryption standards and secure access policies.
  • Build and operate event driven architectures using messaging and notification services to decouple components support asynchronous communication and improve system reliability and fault tolerance.
  • Design and manage resilient application programming interfaces using managed gateway services to provide consistent routing authentication and throttling that support internal and external consumers.
  • Apply well architected principles across reliability performance cost optimization operational excellence and security to continuously review and improve existing workloads and new designs.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration and operations using command line tools software development kits and systems management capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Collaborate with product owners application engineers and data teams in a hybrid work setting to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
  • Monitor cloud workloads using centralized operations tooling to analyze performance metrics identify bottlenecks optimize resource usage and ensure adherence to day shift availability expectations.
  • Document architecture patterns configuration standards and operational procedures so that teams can consistently deploy maintain and enhance cloud solutions without requiring travel or on site presence.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate eight to nine years of progressive experience in cloud solution design and implementation with a strong focus on architecting workloads on the AWS platform for enterprise environments.
  • Bring hands on expertise with container orchestration and registry platforms combined with practical experience in managed relational and document database services for production workloads.
  • Show advanced proficiency in designing and operating secure content delivery and edge protection solutions that integrate with certificate management and shield style security capabilities.
  • Possess deep experience building scalable data pipelines and transformation jobs using modern extract transform and load tooling while integrating with analytics or reporting platforms.
  • Use command line interfaces software development kits and systems management tools to automate infrastructure deployment configuration patching and environment consistency in hybrid work models.
  • Apply structured knowledge of cloud architecture best practices including well architected frameworks to review workloads identify design gaps and propose actionable improvements that enhance business value.


Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate recommended for this cloud architect role.
