About the role
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and integration of data across our Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will define the data architecture that connects customer data, marketing platforms, and analytics into a unified, scalable foundation. You will partner closely with marketing, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure data flows cleanly and reliably across systems, enabling personalized customer experiences and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain the data architecture supporting Adobe Experience Cloud integrations (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Real-Time CDP,
Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, and Adobe Journey Optimizer).
Define data models, schemas, and identity frameworks (including XDM schemas) to support a unified customer profile.
Architect data ingestion, transformation, and activation pipelines connecting source systems to Adobe Experience Cloud and downstream platforms.
Establish data governance, quality, lineage, and privacy standards across integrated systems.
Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Oversee API-based and event-driven integrations between Adobe products and enterprise systems (CRM, data warehouses, cloud platforms).
Optimize data architecture for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship on data integration best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a
related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Strong experience designing and implementing data integrations across enterprise marketing, analytics, or customer data platforms.
Proficiency with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Solid understanding of data governance, identity resolution, and data privacy regulations
(e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud is strongly preferred.
Adobe certifications (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics) are a plus.
Experience with Adobe Experience Data Model (XDM) and Real-Time CDP.
Familiarity with tag management, customer journey orchestration, and personalization
tools.
