Job Summary:

We are looking for Solution Designer to join our Delivery team . You will be playing a key role in the design of interesting and wide ranging IT solutions at the Feature level using practices such as Agile and Continuous Delivery across an array of exciting IT projects in the coming year . You will also be joining a supportive and dynamic team who are responsible for the design and delivery of innovative products which are at the forefront of digital banking in Australia .

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate tribe delivery by translating epics into coherent features in realizable roadmaps and coordinating the deployment of integrated solutions.

  • Support tribes and squads in delivering value while ensuring technical dependencies are discussed and tuned.

  • Work with architects to support senior management to make decisions on complex IT innovations and issues.

  • For major and complex changes, you create roadmaps, inputting the IT perspective. You work closely with road managers who input the business perspective. Create solution approach at the feature level and contribute on epic level where multiple squads and multiple IT assets are involved

  • Work with squads to build and enhance our internal applications and work with our partners and global entities to adopt and enhance third party applications.
  • Contribute to data solution design, including data models, data flows, integration patterns and data quality considerations, ensuring solutions are well-architected from a data perspective and leveraging Python for analysis, automation and prototyping where relevant
  • Implement continuous delivery practices, including test automation, frequent delivery to production etc.

  • Release Change Management - make sure features are delivered into production according to the change management process (CAB, PRAM, cross tribe coordination, technical guidance and socialization).


Skills Required:

  • Experince working in Agile and DevOps delivery.

  • Proven experience in providing input into IT strategy and follow through that demonstrates effective and successful execution.

  • Experience within Banking and Finance industry.

  • Experience leading an engineering team.

  • Experience with Distributed Agile Delivery (onshore/offshore).

  • Experience in data solution design and Python-based data analysis or automation
