Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst with Liquidity Management will serve as a hands-on subject matter expert within the Treasury Technology team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and enhancing capital and liquidity management solutions. The candidate must possess strong analytical, technical, and stakeholder management skills and thrive in an agile delivery environment.

- Asset and Liability Management (ALM)
- Liquidity Risk Management including:
- Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)
- Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)
- High-Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA)
- Intraday Liquidity & Cash Flow Management
- Funding Liquidity Risk (Short-Term & Long-Term)
- Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
- Cash Management & Accounting
- Trade settlement lifecycle with strong exposure to SWIFT
Good to Have:
- Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book (IRRBB)
- Capital or Credit Calculation Engines
- Axiom (Capital Reporting tool)
Key Responsibilities
- Translate capital and liquidity management business rules into detailed technology requirements, including mappings, controls, and traceability matrices
- Author user stories and define acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence
- Develop and maintain data lineage, data catalogues, and governance documentation for audit and compliance
- Conduct data discovery, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity
- Create test plans, test cases, and lead QA/testing and triage activities
- Perform hands-on work with data integration, platforms, and large datasets
- Design data and process flow diagrams using tools such as Visio and Confluence
- Apply strong SQL skills for querying and analysing complex datasets
- Maintain strong understanding of financial products and their impact on capital and liquidity management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Data integration, testing, and documentation
- Strong expertise in SQL and data analysis across large datasets
- Solid understanding of capital and liquidity management frameworks
- Experience in the full trade lifecycle and SWIFT messaging
- Experience in creating data flows, process diagrams, and governance artefacts
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in treasury systems or capital management technology
- Familiarity with big data concepts and platforms
- Experience with regulatory reporting tools (e.g., Axiom)
