Job Summary

The Technology Specialist will design and implement robust Python applications and Promptflow workloads that support advanced data and automation needs in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on building secure Flask based services optimizing model workflows and integrating solutions with enterprise systems. Experience in property and casualty insurance is valuable to align technology outcomes with core business processes and improve operational efficiency for key stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable Python applications that integrate Promptflow workloads to streamline data processing and automation across critical business solutions in a hybrid work environment.
  • Implement and maintain Flask Python web services that expose secure and reliable APIs supporting internal users and enterprise platforms while ensuring high standards of code quality and performance.
  • Configure and optimize Promptflow pipelines to orchestrate models and data transformations that enable consistent and repeatable outcomes for analytics and decision support use cases.
  • Build reusable Python modules and utilities that improve development efficiency for the team and provide a stable foundation for future application features and enhancements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of functional requirements and translate them into technical designs that align with best practices in Python development and modern application architecture.
  • Perform debugging unit testing and integration testing of Flask Python and Promptflow solutions to ensure reliability resilience and maintainability of the deployed applications.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to understand data flows operational needs and user expectations then refine Python and Promptflow implementations to better support those needs.
  • Apply knowledge of property and casualty insurance processes when available to shape data models validation rules and workflow logic for applications supporting underwriting claims or policy management.
  • Ensure secure handling of data within Flask services and Promptflow workloads by following organizational standards for authentication authorization logging and error management.
  • Document technical designs configuration details and operational procedures for Python applications and Promptflow pipelines so that they can be easily understood and maintained by others.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to deploy and monitor applications in the hybrid environment focusing on performance tuning and issue resolution during day shifts.
  • Review and refactor existing Python and Flask code to reduce technical debt improve readability and enhance application stability without disrupting ongoing business operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to development tooling coding standards and workflow practices that increase productivity and software quality.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python with experienced use of libraries idiomatic coding patterns and debugging techniques gained over six to eight years in software development roles.
  • Show proven expertise in Flask Python for building RESTful services handling routing managing request response cycles and integrating with data stores and external systems.
  • Exhibit hands on experience working with Promptflow to design configure and troubleshoot pipelines that coordinate models data sources and evaluation steps.
  • Display familiarity with property and casualty insurance concepts such as policies claims risk assessment and rating enabling better alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
  • Maintain clear communication skills to collaborate with product owners analysts and other technologists in a hybrid work setup focusing on predictable delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Adhere to secure coding practices and quality standards by using code reviews automated tests and monitoring tools to keep applications stable and compliant with organizational guidelines.
  • Adapt quickly to new tools and frameworks related to Python Flask and Promptflow continuously upgrading skills to meet evolving project and platform requirements.
