About the role
As an Associate – Governance and Oversight (G&O), JSIC, you will support the governance and operational excellence of the Joint Security Intelligence Center (JSIC) within Corporate Security. You will be a key member of the Governance & Oversight team, collaborating with multiple JSIC sub towers and stakeholders to ensure consistency, process adherence, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement across security operations.
You will have the opportunity to drive governance activities, maintain critical operational processes, support reporting and compliance initiatives, coordinate learning and engagement programs, and contribute to strengthening the maturity and effectiveness of JSIC operations.
In this role, you will:
- Support process governance activities by creating, updating, and maintaining SOPs, service manuals, communication templates, and the central document repository.
- Maintain the JSIC service catalog, product inventory, and governance artifacts to ensure process consistency and operational compliance.
- Administer governance trackers and support ServiceNow-based task, issue, action item, and operational management activities.
- Coordinate governance forums, operational review meetings, documentation of meeting minutes, and team engagement initiatives.
- Collate operational metrics from JSIC sub towers and prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards, reports, trends, and executive storyboards.
- Support audit readiness activities, quality reviews, business continuity planning (BCP), business impact analysis (BIA), tabletop exercises, and resilience initiatives.
- Maintain training records, workforce databases, organizational charts, distribution lists, and learning program trackers.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications, recognition programs, team-building activities, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Publish JSIC goals, track progress against objectives, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance governance practices, reporting quality, operational efficiency, and service effectiveness.
What you must have to be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Operations Management, or a related discipline. (Note: This is not a cyber security role, but involves governance and tracking of all incidents including cyber).
- Experience supporting governance, operations management, program coordination, project management, risk management, compliance, or related business functions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, trackers, reports, and stakeholder requests.
- Experience creating and maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures, and process governance artifacts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, collaboration platforms, reporting tools, and workflow management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile data, identify trends, and produce meaningful reports and dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams and organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and support operational excellence initiatives.
- A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves a greater good for customers, communities, or global challenges.

These will help you succeed
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar workflow, governance, or ticketing platforms.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, audit, operational risk, business continuity, or security operations processes.
- Experience preparing executive dashboards, scorecards, operational reports, and management presentations.
- Familiarity with documentation management, knowledge repositories, and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination capabilities.
- Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, training sessions, and engagement initiatives.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, trackers, and governance documentation.
- Continuous learning mindset with a focus on operational excellence and process improvement.
