Job Responsibilities
- Build and support Azure-centric integration components using Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Data Factory as part of event-driven workflows for banking applications
- Develop data processing pipelines that ingest, transform, and store investment banking and brokerage data in Azure Data Lake Store, following established design patterns
- Work with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to implement technical requirements based on defined architecture and enterprise standards
- Support and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines, including mapping data flows, to help improve latency, throughput, and data quality
- Configure Azure Key Vault for applications to manage secrets, certificates, and encryption keys per established security guidelines
- Implement event-driven components using Azure Event Grid and Azure Functions to process trade events, settlements, and reconciliations, including basic error handling and monitoring
- Build integrations with Azure Logic Apps to support workflow automation across trading platforms, market data feeds, and back-office systems
- Follow logging, monitoring, and alerting standards across Azure services to support observability of pipelines and functions
- Assist in identifying opportunities to modernize legacy data and integration workloads, and help implement migration tasks under senior guidance
- Document technical implementation details, interface contracts, and configurations to support team knowledge sharing
- Coordinate with security and risk teams to implement encryption, access control, and secret management configurations per internal policy
- Participate in hybrid work model ceremonies, including design reviews, sprint planning, and team syncs, during day shifts
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Data Factory in production environments
- Working knowledge of cloud security, data protection, and identity management as applied to sensitive financial data
- Exposure to investment banking operations or brokerage domains (trade lifecycles, settlements, reconciliations, reporting) is a plus
- Solid skills in data modeling, integration patterns, and pipeline performance tuning
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in hybrid/distributed team settings with clear documentation practices

$92,000 – $110,000 per year
