Job Summary
This hybrid role is for a Technical Lead with five to seven years of experience who will guide development teams in building robust Python Git Actions in All platforms. Python solutions integrated with Microsoft GitHub Copilot and Git. The role focuses on high quality code delivery collaborative problem solving and continuous improvement with added advantage for experience in airline domain projects. Day shifts and no travel are required.
Responsibilities
- Design robust Python based solutions that address complex business problems while ensuring scalability maintainability and secure coding practices in alignment with organization standards
- Develop modular and reusable Python components that integrate seamlessly with existing systems to support long term platform stability and reduced maintenance overhead
- Implement efficient version control workflows using Git to manage branches commits and merges while maintaining clear history and traceability for all code changes
- Configure and optimize Microsoft GitHub Copilot usage to improve developer productivity while ensuring generated code aligns with project guidelines and quality standards
- Review code contributions from team members to ensure adherence to coding conventions secure practices and performance expectations while providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with product owners business analysts and quality engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions that meet functional and nonfunctional expectations
- Coordinate hybrid work activities by organizing clear backlog items online collaboration sessions and documentation so that distributed team members remain aligned and productive
- Optimize application performance by profiling Python code identifying bottlenecks and implementing targeted improvements that reduce latency and resource consumption
- Integrate automated testing frameworks into the development lifecycle to improve reliability reduce defects and facilitate safe refactoring across Python codebases
- Monitor application health through logs and metrics proactively identifying issues and coordinating timely resolutions that minimize impact on business operations and end users
- Guide adoption of secure development practices within the team by promoting code scanning tools dependency management and appropriate handling of sensitive data in Python applications
- Document technical designs workflows and operational procedures in clear and accessible formats to support knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members in the hybrid environment
- Engage with stakeholders to understand potential use cases in airline related projects where domain awareness enhances solution design reliability and customer centric outcomes
Qualifications
- Describe prior experience delivering production grade Python applications using modern frameworks and libraries to solve real world business problems in enterprise environments
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Git including branching strategies pull request workflows and conflict resolution that support collaborative development in medium to large teams
- Explain practical usage of Microsoft GitHub Copilot as a coding assistant including strategies to validate suggestions and ensure generated code aligns with secure and maintainable standards
- Highlight background working in agile or iterative development environments where sprint planning daily collaboration and incremental delivery are core to the project rhythm
- Showcase experience with unit testing frameworks continuous integration pipelines and automation practices that improve code quality and reduce manual effort during releases
- Describe exposure to airline or travel domain scenarios such as booking systems flight operations or customer service platforms where technical solutions support safe and reliable journeys
- Illustrate effective communication skills for hybrid work models including structured written updates clear virtual meeting participation and proactive coordination across distributed teams
- Explain familiarity with cloud hosted environments containerization or deployment pipelines where Python services are packaged monitored and continuously improved over time
- Emphasize a continuous learning mindset where new tools libraries and practices such as advanced Copilot capabilities or modern Python features are regularly explored and thoughtfully adopted
