Shape the Future of Workday Integrations
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Integrations Manager (d/f/m) to lead the successful delivery of complex Workday integration engagements for clients across Germany and Europe.
In this role, you will combine delivery leadership, technical expertise, stakeholder management, and people leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes throughout both implementation and post-production phases. Working closely with Engagement Managers, Solution Architects, and client stakeholders, you will drive scalable integration solutions while developing and mentoring high-performing teams.

Your Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Leadership
- Lead the delivery of Workday integration solutions across HCM, Payroll, and Financials, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with Engagement Managers to proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Define integration strategies and implementation approaches aligned with client business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, delivery methodologies, and architectural standards.
Solution Oversight & Technical Leadership
- Review and validate integration designs involving Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST and SOAP web services.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance for complex integration scenarios.
- Drive best practices in integration architecture, error handling, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Act as the senior point of escalation for technical delivery challenges.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with client business and IT stakeholders.
- Facilitate design workshops, solution reviews, and issue resolution sessions.
- Ensure transparent communication of project status, risks, and milestones.
- Support successful project outcomes while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Resource & Delivery Management
- Manage project resource allocation and utilisation across multiple engagements.
- Support demand forecasting and workforce planning activities.
- Match consultant capabilities with project requirements to deliver optimal outcomes.
People Leadership & Development
- Mentor, coach, and develop consultants in technical delivery, consulting skills, and client engagement.
- Support career development through structured feedback, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure consistency and quality across all integration deliverables and documentation.
- Promote the adoption of delivery frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Workday integration delivery practices.
Business Development Support
- Support solution development, effort estimations, and Statement of Work (SOW) reviews.
- Contribute to client proposals, presentations, and solution discussions.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and deliver additional value to clients.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering Workday integration solutions in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, or client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Workday Studio
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Core Connectors
- PECI
- RaaS
- REST and SOAP integrations
- Strong understanding of integration architecture, data flows, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and drive successful delivery outcomes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Integration Certification(s).
- Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials implementations.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, estimations, and proposal development.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
