About the role
As a Core Banking Application Support Manager (Jack Henry) , you will make an impact by ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous operation of mission-critical banking applications within the Jack Henry ecosystem. You will be a valued member of the Banking Technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, banking operations teams, infrastructure partners, application vendors, and global support teams.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert and production support lead for Jack Henry applications, including Synergy, ArgoKeys, Banno, Commercial Center, Teller, iPay, Pep+, and related banking platforms.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management activities to ensure platform availability, operational excellence, and timely issue resolution.
- Oversee daily production monitoring, Start-of-Day activities, batch processing validation, workflow automation, and operational governance.
- Partner with business, technology, and vendor teams to support application enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Drive business continuity, disaster recovery testing, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives across banking operations and digital banking services.

What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience supporting Jack Henry applications and mission-critical banking technology platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Jack Henry Synergy, ArgoKeys, Banno, Commercial Center, Teller, iPay, Pep+, and related core banking environments.
- Strong experience leading incident management, problem management, change management, and production support functions in a regulated banking environment.
- Proven expertise with banking operations, digital banking platforms, teller operations, document management systems, and core banking workflows.
- Experience supporting SQL Server environments, workflow automation, batch scheduling, and production monitoring processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, technical, and vendor teams.

- Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Experience with Cybermation Enterprise Scheduler, SSIS, VBScript, C#, VB.NET, and application automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, release management, knowledge management, and ITIL-based support practices.
- Experience supporting integrations, middleware platforms, APIs, and data reconciliation processes.
- Jack Henry product certifications, ITIL Foundation certification, Microsoft SQL certifications, or other banking technology certifications.
- Experience leading onsite and offshore support teams and presenting executive-level incident communications and root cause analyses.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until August 31, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 130,000 - $ 150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
