Job Summary

This is a techno-functional SAP MM role requiring strong technical experience and sound business process understanding. As part of a vendor-deployed team, you will work on the client's project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to perform business requirements analysis, system and process design, and to create functional specifications.

You will drive system development, participate in cross-functional testing, support project cutover, provide post go-live warranty support, and complete handover to the client's SAP support group.

You will be expected to work with the client's global IS&T teams, regional business users, and external business partners to design, develop, and deploy strategic supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, design, and customise SAP suite of solutions to support Logistics and Supply Chain across a cross-section of business groups.

• Translate complex, cross-functional business needs into system design and functional/technical specifications.

• Understand and assimilate detailed and complex business processes across multiple functions in the supply chain.

• Work through ambiguity in close partnership with business and cross-functional teams to define a workable model and design that meets and manages all systems and business expectations.

• Work on and deliver complex project deliverables to support business operations in a highly integrated, heterogeneous landscape, collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams across different locations.

• Execute project deliverables, monitoring and reporting on progress and outcomes.

• Work closely with the client's Global IS&T teams during requirement analysis, design review, build, and testing phases.

• Extend SAP standard features to support requirements through the SAP enhancement and extensibility framework, utilising user exits, implicit enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, iDocs, oData, etc.

• Support custom SAP solution delivery via SAP BTP and its associated development framework.

• Develop technical specifications for partner systems integration, including data element-level mapping with partner systems, while enforcing global design standardisation.

• Demonstrate strong understanding of the SAP development platform with the ability to debug and troubleshoot.

• Review the technical development team's deliverables for accuracy and completeness via SIT, UAT, etc.

• Ensure consistent delivery of quality work in line with the established project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project governance.

• Establish close working relationships and partnerships with cross-functional IS&T and business stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least one full life-cycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

• Minimum 6 years of SAP MM working experience in a high-tech manufacturing/OEM or consumer products environment.

Key Qualifications

• At least one full life-cycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

• Good understanding of procurement, inventory management, and materials management business processes.

• Hands-on SAP MM experience is essential — including work on Purchase Requisitions/Orders, Goods Receipt/Issue, Inventory Management, Vendor Invoice Management, and Batch Management.

• Experience performing detailed system analysis, developing functional and technical specifications, and hands-on configuration for S/4HANA MM in a large-scale project implementation (preferably for a global, multi-national organisation).

• Played a key MM functional role in Testing phases and Cutover activities for an S/4HANA project implementation. Experience with Test Automation, Data Migration, and Data Validation tools is an advantage.

• Ability to work effectively across multiple organisations to successfully implement projects spanning multiple SAP modules.

• Worked closely with Technical, DevOps, and other teams in the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

• Open and adaptive to learning new technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

• Cross-functional team experience, with strong configuration and development skills.
