Experienced Databricks Architect with expertise in designing and implementing modern data platforms, Lakehouse architectures, cloud-native analytics solutions, and enterprise-scale data engineering frameworks. Proven experience in Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Python, SQL, and major cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Skilled in data modernization, data governance, machine learning enablement, and creating scalable architectures to support analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives.
12+ years in data & analytics overall, including 5+ years hands-on Databricks architecture and delivery; prior client-facing architect or advisory experience required.

• Medallion Architecture Design
• Apache Spark batch and streaming
• Performance tuning, cluster optimization and cost management
• Python and Advanced SQL
• GCP Integration: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer
• Data Governance, Lineage and Security
• Data Modernization and Legacy Warehouse Migration
• Semantic and dimensional modelling for reporting; curated gold-layer design for BI consumption
• Power BI, Looker or Tableau – dashboard and KPI design, dataset performance tuning, self-service enablement
• Drive client discussions on Databricks capabilities, positioning and value within CNP's current GCP landscape
• Identify, qualify and shape Databricks use cases; build the adoption roadmap and reference architecture
• Define lakehouse, governance and integration standards; lead solution design and technical reviews
• Enable downstream AI/ML and BI workloads; partner with the BI and AI/ML track leads on shared data products
• Act as trusted technical advisor to CNP stakeholders and mentor the onsite delivery team
