Job Summary

This hybrid Functional Architect role focuses on designing and optimizing S4 HANA based Order to Cash solutions that enhance revenue processes pricing strategies and logistics execution for a global organization. The architect will translate business needs in supply chain and consumer goods domains into scalable configurations that improve operational efficiency and customer experience while ensuring sustainable value delivery for the enterprise and society.


Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive S4 HANA Order to Cash architectures that align with business objectives and support scalable growth across global markets while ensuring efficient integration with existing enterprise applications and data flows.
  • Develop robust S4 HANA OTC Basic Info System configurations that standardize master data usage improve transactional accuracy and reduce process cycle times across sales and distribution functions.
  • Configure and optimize S4 HANA Billing and Revenue processes to streamline invoicing ensure regulatory compliance and increase transparency of revenue recognition for finance and commercial stakeholders.
  • Implement S4 HANA Advance Pricing solutions that support complex pricing scenarios discount structures and promotional mechanisms while improving margin visibility and profitability management for product and channel portfolios.
  • Design S4 HANA Advance Order to Cash workflows that minimize order processing delays reduce manual interventions and enhance fulfillment reliability leading to improved customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Configure S4 HANA Sales BOM structures that support bundled offerings kit management and variant handling thereby enabling flexible product strategies and better alignment with consumer goods market demands.
  • Optimize S4 HANA Basic Logistic Execute capabilities to improve shipment planning picking packing and delivery confirmation processes resulting in lower logistics costs and higher service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in supply chain finance sales and operations to gather requirements validate solution designs and ensure that implemented configurations meet business expectations and performance targets.
  • Conduct detailed fit gap analyses and impact assessments for S4 HANA enhancements and change requests to safeguard system stability and minimize risk to critical order management and billing operations.
  • Prepare functional specifications for required developments and integrations ensuring that technical teams have clear documentation to build reliable interfaces reports and extensions that support end to end OTC processes.
  • Establish governance for data quality testing and user acceptance by defining scenarios metrics and validation steps that ensure accurate transactional flows from order capture to billing and revenue reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process performance metrics identifying optimization opportunities and recommending S4 HANA configuration changes that strengthen supply chain resilience and societal value creation through reliable product availability.
  • Provide structured guidance and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams through workshops documentation and process walkthroughs to build organizational capability in managing S4 HANA OTC solutions.


Qualifications

  • Possess strong hands on expertise in S4 HANA OTC Basic Info System Billing and Revenue Advance Pricing Advance Order to Cash Sales BOM and Basic Logistic Execute with a proven record of delivering complex implementations over at least ten years.
  • Demonstrate applied experience in supply chain management processes particularly in consumer goods planning order fulfillment and distribution enabling practical translation of domain requirements into effective S4 HANA designs.
  • Showcase proficiency in end to end order to cash process mapping requirements elaboration and solution configuration including pricing conditions billing types account determination and logistics execution rules.
  • Exhibit capability to analyze data flows troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical specialists to resolve integration problems between S4 HANA and surrounding enterprise platforms.
  • Display strong communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate workshops present solution options and gain consensus on design decisions among business and technology participants.
  • Bring familiarity with hybrid working models and remote collaboration tools enabling efficient coordination of design build test and deployment activities across distributed teams.
  • Present evidence of structured documentation practices including configuration guides process maps and training materials to support sustainable knowledge retention and system support.


Certifications Required

SAP Certified Application Associate S4HANA Sales certification or equivalent specialized S4 HANA Order to Cash credential preferred.
