About the Role

As a Healthcare Facets QA Test Manager, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end Quality Engineering delivery for large-scale Healthcare Payer programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes across Facets implementations, modernization initiatives, and enterprise testing engagements. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, development teams, and client leadership to drive successful program delivery. In this Role, You Will:

Lead end-to-end Quality Engineering delivery across Healthcare Facets programs, ensuring successful execution of functional, integration, regression, UAT, and release testing.

Define and drive test strategy, test planning, estimation, governance, risk management, defect management, and release readiness activities.

Manage multiple testing workstreams while ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and alignment with business objectives.

Lead multi-vendor, cross-functional, and onsite-offshore delivery teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely project execution.

Partner with client stakeholders and executive leadership to provide delivery governance, status reporting, issue resolution, and quality metrics oversight.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, testing best practices, and process optimization to enhance quality outcomes and delivery efficiency.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

12+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience with significant experience supporting Healthcare Payer systems and Facets platform testing.

Proven expertise in end-to-end test management, including test strategy, planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and release governance for large-scale Facets programs.

Strong Healthcare Payer domain knowledge with hands-on experience in Claims (including ITS/BlueCard), Enrollment, Benefits, Provider, Billing, and EDI transactions (834, 837, and 835).

Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-vendor, onsite-offshore, and cross-functional teams within transformation and modernization programs.

Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, client governance, and delivery leadership experience, including SLA and service commitment management.

Experience managing testing across complex system integrations, releases, and enterprise-wide implementations.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

These Will Help You Stand Out

Experience leading enterprise Healthcare Payer transformation or modernization initiatives.

Healthcare industry certifications and Quality Engineering certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, or equivalent).

Experience with Facets upgrades, migrations, and platform transformation programs.

Strong understanding of test automation, continuous testing, and quality engineering best practices.

Experience working directly with healthcare clients and executive stakeholders in highly regulated environments.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
