Data Center Operations Engineer

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Operations Engineer to support the day-to-day operations of enterprise data center environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of critical infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and supporting facilities. The role requires hands-on experience in data center operations, incident management, change implementation, and infrastructure maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily monitoring and operational support of data center infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of servers, storage, network, and related systems.
- Execute routine maintenance activities, including hardware installations, upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management activities in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Coordinate with network, server, storage, security, and application teams to resolve operational issues.
- Perform rack and stack activities, cable management, hardware asset tracking, and inventory management.
- Monitor environmental controls, power systems, UPS, generators, cooling systems, and physical security controls.
- Support disaster recovery exercises and business continuity initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Participate in on-call support and provide timely resolution of critical incidents.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, audit requirements, and security policies.
