Senior Azure Agentic AI Architect
Location: Oslo, Norway
About the Role
As a Senior Azure Agentic AI Architect, you will make an impact by designing and delivering cutting-edge, enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible with Microsoft Azure. You will be a valued member of our AI & Emerging Technology practice, working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams, enterprise clients, and senior business stakeholders to transform bold AI ambitions into production-grade reality.
This is not a role for those who want to follow the playbook — it's a role for those who want to write it. If you thrive at the intersection of deep technical mastery and strategic innovation, and you're passionate about shaping the next generation of intelligent systems, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
• Architect and implement enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions on Microsoft Azure — leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Machine Learning — with well-defined data flows, component architecture, and resource optimization that scale to meet real-world enterprise demands.
• Engineer advanced LLM-powered applications and RAG pipelines using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search, building retrieval-augmented generation systems that are efficient, grounded, and production-ready.
• Design and deploy sophisticated multi-agent systems using Azure ecosystem tools such as Semantic Kernel and custom orchestration layers — enabling collaborative, goal-driven agent workflows across complex enterprise use cases.
• Drive responsible AI governance and compliance by embedding Azure-native governance frameworks, Responsible AI principles, monitoring pipelines, model evaluation strategies, and security controls into every solution you deliver.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and solution design sessions — translating complex AI architectures into clear, compelling narratives for business and technical audiences alike — and championing enterprise transformation through innovative AI strategy.
Work Model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs.
The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting. This may change based on the project you're engaged in, as well as business and client requirements. Rest assured — we will always be clear about role expectations.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure AI services — including hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Machine Learning — and a strong portfolio of AI solutions delivered end-to-end, from prototyping through to production.
• Deep knowledge of LLM engineering and RAG architectures, including the design and optimization of Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines integrated with Azure AI Search and other Azure-native data services.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Azure SDKs, with demonstrated experience building, deploying, and tuning AI applications using CI/CD pipelines and performance monitoring frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel and/or LangChain (Azure-integrated), including the design of collaborative, goal-driven agent workflows.
• Advanced prompt engineering skills and expertise in grounding techniques, model performance tuning, and response quality optimization for enterprise-scale AI applications.
These Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience with Azure data platforms such as Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse, including the design of vector store integrations and scalable embedding and retrieval mechanisms using Azure AI Search vector capabilities.
• A strong grasp of Responsible AI principles and practical experience implementing compliance controls, risk mitigation frameworks, and model governance in regulated enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture discussions at the executive level — influencing technical strategy and helping clients navigate the complexities of enterprise AI transformation.
• Familiarity with the latest developments in Agentic AI research, including autonomous planning patterns, tool-use frameworks, and emerging orchestration paradigms.
