Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAFe Agile Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams for a global Banking and Financial Services customer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving SAFe practices across teams, removing impediments, and ensuring successful delivery of business and technology initiatives. The candidate should possess strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in large-scale Agile transformation programs within the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
  • Drive Agile and SAFe best practices across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and SAFe methodologies.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team productivity and delivery.
  • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning, execution, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, capacity planning, and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Business Stakeholders, Architects, and Development teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, and issues across teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and Agile maturity.
  • Generate and present Agile metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, risk, security, and regulatory requirements applicable to banking programs.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing Agile culture.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in SAFe Agile Framework and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating Agile teams in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burn-down, Burn-up, Lead Time, and Cycle Time.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple geographies.
  • Prior experience working with Banking and Financial Services clients is preferred.
  • Understanding of banking products, payments, lending, retail banking, commercial banking, or digital banking ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and risk management practices within banking organizations.
