Senior Drupal Architect
About the role
As a Senior Drupal Architect, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade Drupal solutions that support scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences. You will be a valued member of our technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, solution architects, product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative web solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of Drupal 10/11 web applications and platforms.
- Develop and maintain custom Drupal modules, themes, REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Design and implement headless CMS solutions using modern API-driven architectures and front-end frameworks, including React.js.
- Drive application security, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability across digital platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on technical requirements, effort estimations, solution design, and proposal development.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices using Azure DevOps.
- Support Identity and Access Management integrations, including Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions with Okta and similar platforms.
- Mentor development teams and promote coding standards, architectural best practices, and technical excellence.

What you need to have to be considered
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Drupal CMS, including recent experience with Drupal 10 and/or Drupal 11.
- Strong expertise in Drupal theme development using Bootstrap and Twig template customization.
- Experience developing custom modules, REST APIs, and integrations with external systems.
- Experience implementing headless Drupal architectures and working with modern front-end technologies; React.js experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle best practices.
- Experience implementing SSO solutions using Okta or other Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms.
- Strong understanding of application security standards, compliance requirements, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience managing Drupal multisite environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese.

- Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and manage cross-functional teams.
- Expertise using performance analysis tools such as Google Lighthouse.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and practical enterprise use cases.
