Job Summary
Drive the design and implementation of scalable identity and access management solutions in a hybrid work environment focusing on automation driven security controls for large enterprise systems. Collaborate with cross functional teams to strengthen cyber resilience ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard critical assets through modern IAM architectures and streamlined processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect end to end identity and access management solutions that align with enterprise security strategies while supporting business agility and operational continuity in a hybrid work environment.
- Lead the development of IAM reference architectures and standards for authentication authorization and identity lifecycle management to ensure consistent adoption across complex application and infrastructure landscapes.
- Develop and optimize automation driven workflows for account provisioning deprovisioning and access reviews to reduce manual effort minimize errors and improve security posture for all user types.
- Collaborate with application owners infrastructure teams and security operations to integrate IAM capabilities including single sign on and multifactor authentication into existing and new platforms in a seamless manner.
- Define and implement role based and attribute based access models that accurately map to business functions thereby reducing excessive privileges and strengthening least privilege enforcement.
- Evaluate and select IAM products and automation tools by conducting technical assessments proof of concepts and integration feasibility analysis to ensure scalability reliability and regulatory alignment.
- Establish policies and processes for periodic access certification and segregation of duties checks using automated controls to detect and remediate risky access conditions in a timely way.
- Create detailed solution design documents and technical guidelines that clearly describe integration patterns data flows security controls and operational procedures for IAM implementations.
- Provide advanced technical guidance to engineering and operations teams on troubleshooting complex IAM issues ensuring timely resolution of incidents and continuous improvement of stability and performance.
- Monitor and analyze security events and IAM metrics to identify anomalies policy violations and optimization opportunities and then implement targeted enhancements through automation and configuration tuning.
- Engage with governance risk and compliance stakeholders to map IAM controls to regulatory and industry frameworks and demonstrate control effectiveness through evidence and reporting.
- Coordinate with project and product teams to embed IAM requirements early in solution design life cycles ensuring that identity security risks are addressed before deployment and change activities.
- Drive awareness of secure access practices across the organization by preparing technical runbooks reusable automation patterns and clear communication artifacts that promote standardized adoption.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive hands on experience in architecting and implementing enterprise grade IAM solutions over at least twelve years with deep exposure to complex hybrid and cloud integrated environments.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in automation of IAM processes including workflow orchestration scripting and integration with IT service management and human resource systems for lifecycle events.
- Show advanced understanding of authentication and authorization standards such as SAML OAuth and OpenID Connect implemented through secure and reliable integration with diverse applications and platforms.
- Exhibit solid capability in designing and enforcing role based and attribute based access control models including definition of entitlements policies and guardrails that support business operations securely.
- Apply in depth knowledge of identity governance concepts covering access certification segregation of duties and policy based remediation using modern tools and automated controls.
- Display familiarity with hybrid work models and modern collaboration platforms ensuring IAM architectures support secure remote access without compromising user experience or system performance.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills that enable effective collaboration with security engineering operations and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical IAM solutions.
Certifications Required
Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Identity and Access Manager or equivalent IAM certification.
