Senior Generative AI Engineer - Remote

In this role, you will:
- Design and develop Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, and AI agent frameworks.
- Build, integrate, and optimize AI-powered applications and APIs for business use cases.
- Develop prompt engineering, context management, and model fine-tuning strategies.
- Ensure AI solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify and implement AI opportunities.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive AI best practices across projects.

What you need to have to be considered:
- Frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, and LangGraph
- Core Languages: Python, SQL, and Java
- APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini
- OSS Models: Llama 3, Mistral, and Hugging Face
- Techniques: Prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuning
- Vector Stores: Pinecone, Chroma, and Milvus
- Agentic Workflows: Multi-agent systems and tool calling
- Evaluation: TruLens, Ragas, and LLM-as-a-judge
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $46K – 93,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
