Job Summary

This hybrid role for a senior consultant requires 8 to 10 years of experience with strong expertise in property and casualty insurance. The role focuses on delivering consulting outcomes that improve underwriting claims and policy operations while aligning with client strategy. The consultant works in a day shift model and collaborates closely with diverse stakeholders to deliver measurable value.


Responsibilities

  • Drive complex consulting engagements in property and casualty insurance to improve client processes in underwriting policy administration claims handling and billing by applying deep industry knowledge and structured analysis
  • Analyze current client workflows and systems across core insurance functions to identify inefficiencies operational risks and opportunities for digital enablement that deliver measurable performance improvements
  • Design practical target state operating models for property and casualty operations that align with client strategy and regulatory expectations while remaining achievable within budget and timeline constraints
  • Develop detailed business requirements user stories and process maps for insurance platforms including policy administration rating engines and claims systems in close collaboration with business and technology teams
  • Coordinate hybrid working sessions with client stakeholders to validate findings prioritize initiatives and secure consensus on solution approaches that balance customer experience operational efficiency and compliance
  • Guide the implementation of process and system changes by defining milestones tracking progress managing risks and ensuring that day shift project activities remain aligned with agreed objectives
  • Prepare clear consulting deliverables including assessment reports implementation roadmaps and benefit cases that quantify financial and operational impact for property and casualty portfolios
  • Mentor junior team members by sharing domain expertise in property and casualty insurance best practices and consulting methods to build a high performing and inclusive consulting team culture
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as product owners actuaries underwriters claims specialists and technology partners to ensure solutions are practical sustainable and aligned with market trends
  • Advise clients on regulatory and compliance considerations in property and casualty insurance operations helping them embed controls within processes and systems to reduce operational and compliance risk
  • Utilize data insights from loss experience underwriting performance and claims metrics to recommend actions that improve portfolio quality customer satisfaction and operational throughput
  • Support business development by contributing domain expertise to proposals shaping solution narratives and estimating effort for new consulting opportunities in the property and casualty space
  • Engage in continuous learning on insurance market trends digital tools and consulting techniques to bring innovative yet pragmatic recommendations that strengthen client competitiveness and societal resilience


Qualifications

  • Possess 8 to 10 years of professional experience in consulting or equivalent roles with significant focus on property and casualty insurance operations across underwriting claims and policy servicing
  • Hold a strong academic background in business insurance finance or a related discipline with the ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical process and system improvements for clients
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in analyzing insurance processes mapping workflows documenting requirements and using standard office productivity tools to create clear and persuasive client deliverables
  • Bring proven experience working on hybrid projects that combine onsite and remote collaboration using collaboration platforms to manage workshops documentation and project communication during day shifts
  • Show capability to interpret insurance regulations and industry guidelines and to embed compliant practices into client processes in a way that supports both customer outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Exhibit strong communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills that enable effective engagement with underwriters claims professionals technology teams and senior client sponsors
  • Display familiarity with modern insurance technology such as core insurance platforms data analytics capabilities and automation tools and understand how these solutions can improve property and casualty performance
