About the Role
As a Senior Consulting Manager – Scrum Master & Business Analyst, you will play a strategic leadership role within a major technology modernization initiative, helping clients accelerate agile transformation and deliver critical business outcomes. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, drive program governance, lead agile delivery practices, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology execution.
You will be a valued member of the Cognizant Consulting team, collaborating closely with client executives, product owners, technology leaders, operations teams, compliance partners, and cross-functional delivery organizations to successfully execute complex transformation initiatives within the financial services industry.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead Agile delivery across strategic technology modernization initiatives, ensuring program objectives, timelines, and business outcomes are achieved.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while driving Agile best practices across teams.
- Partner with business, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and solution requirements that drive successful execution.
- Manage and maintain product backlogs, sprint metrics, Agile boards, and project documentation using JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Coordinate complex dependencies across multiple delivery teams supporting platform enhancements and enterprise integration initiatives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, release planning, and go-live readiness activities.
- Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments while providing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and executive communications by delivering concise status updates, governance reports, and strategic program recommendations.
- Advise clients on Agile transformation, delivery excellence, process optimization, and operating model improvements.
- Mentor project teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting, business analysis, and Agile delivery practices.

What You Must Have to Be Considered
- 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or related consulting roles.
- Proven experience leading Agile delivery within large-scale technology transformation programs
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, process mapping, business process analysis, workflow design, and gap analysis.
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, product backlogs, and delivery roadmaps.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
- Experience managing program risks, issues, dependencies, and governance activities.
- Experience supporting UAT, release management, defect management, and production implementation activities.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Financial services industry experience, preferably supporting brokerage, wealth management, capital markets, or financial operations initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
These Will Help You Succeed
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or similar Agile certification.
- Experience supporting brokerage account transfer platforms and ACATS-related business processes.
- Knowledge of back-office operations, fee processing systems, and operational integration platforms.
- Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments.
- Experience leading enterprise modernization programs and digital transformation initiatives.
- Consulting experience managing senior client stakeholders and driving organizational change.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.

Compensation
Compensation for this position will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and other incentive compensation programs based on individual and company performance.
