Job summary
This hybrid corporate role focuses on talent management operations and analytics using MS Office MS Excel and Sum Total talent management platform for a multinational organization. The professional will streamline learning and talent processes optimize data quality and reporting support business stakeholders with insights and ensure smooth day to day system usage across global teams while maintaining high compliance and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end administration of the Sum Total talent management platform to ensure reliable learning and talent processes for all business units across the multinational organization.
- Manage configuration of learning programs and talent workflows by updating catalogs assignments and rules in Sum Total so that employees have timely access to required development opportunities.
- Develop detailed MS Excel based reports and dashboards that transform raw talent and learning data into actionable insights for business stakeholders and HR partners.
- Analyze completion rates skill development progress and usage metrics through structured MS Excel models to highlight trends risks and improvement opportunities in talent programs.
- Collaborate with HR and functional teams to gather requirements for new learning initiatives and translate them into precise system setups and schedules in Sum Total.
- Maintain high data quality in talent systems by performing regular reconciliations validations and corrections using MS Office tools to support accurate reporting and compliance.
- Prepare clear process documentation reference guides and quick help materials in MS Office formats to enable consistent usage of talent systems by global users.
- Coordinate day to day issue resolution for system users by tracking incidents identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes that improve user satisfaction.
- Support audit and compliance activities by providing evidence of learning completions certification status and talent records through well structured MS Excel reports.
- Optimize recurring administrative tasks by designing efficient MS Excel templates and macros that reduce manual effort and increase process reliability.
- Partner with analytics and HR operations teams to align talent metrics and reporting standards so that leadership receives coherent views of workforce development outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating feedback from learners and managers and proposing concrete enhancements to Sum Total configurations and workflows.
- Ensure effective communication of program launches changes and deadlines through well formatted MS Office materials that help employees understand expectations and benefits.
Qualifications
- Possess proven hands on experience in advanced MS Excel including lookups pivot tables data validation and basic automation to manage complex talent datasets.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in MS Office productivity tools to create structured documents presentations and communication materials for diverse corporate audiences.
- Bring practical experience working with Sum Total talent management or similar enterprise learning platforms including course setup user management and reporting.
- Show solid background of five to eight years in corporate roles focused on HR operations learning management or talent administration within a large scale environment.
- Exhibit ability to interpret business and HR requirements and convert them into clear system configurations process flows and reporting structures.
- Apply analytical thinking and attention to detail to validate data identify inconsistencies and propose remediation steps that enhance decision making reliability.
- Display effective written and verbal communication skills that support collaboration with HR partners business managers and global stakeholders in a hybrid work setting.
