Job Summary : GeoSpatial Analyst MAP role for an experienced professional with six to eight years in geospatial data solutions cloud platforms and advanced analytics. The role focuses on building scalable geospatial applications on AWS using Java integrating agentic AI and Kafka for real time processing in a hybrid work model. Responsibilities : -Design geospatial data models and mapping solutions that transform complex location information into accurate and usable insights for enterprise stakeholders and social impact initiatives. -Develop robust Java based services that process geospatial data efficiently on AWS ensuring code quality resilience and maintainability for long term platform stability. -Implement Kafka based streaming pipelines that capture and distribute real time spatial events enabling responsive applications and improved operational decision making. -Configure AWS resources for geospatial workloads including storage computation and networking components to deliver secure scalable and cost optimized solutions. -Apply agentic AI techniques to automate geospatial analysis tasks and intelligent workflows so that mapping products continuously adapt to new data and changing business contexts. -Conduct detailed spatial analysis using diverse datasets to identify patterns risks and opportunities that directly support company strategies and societal benefits. -Collaborate with product owners data engineers and domain experts in a hybrid work setting to refine geospatial requirements and translate them into implementable technical designs. -Create clear technical documentation including data dictionaries workflow descriptions and solution runbooks that enable consistent understanding and smooth operations across teams. -Monitor performance and reliability of geospatial services on AWS and Kafka and perform tuning and optimization activities to maintain high availability and responsive user experiences. -Ensure rigorous data quality checks validation rules and error handling for all spatial datasets so business users can trust maps dashboards and analytic outputs. -Support integration of geospatial services with internal and external systems by designing well structured APIs and data exchange mechanisms that respect security and compliance standards. -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new geospatial tools AI capabilities and cloud features and proposing enhancements that increase value to clients and communities. -Provide day to day technical support and issue analysis for geospatial applications during day shifts in a hybrid model ensuring minimal disruption and timely resolution for users. -Qualifications -Possess six to eight years of professional experience working as a geospatial or data oriented analyst with hands on exposure to enterprise scale mapping or spatial solutions. -Demonstrate strong proficiency in AWS services relevant to data processing and application hosting using them to design secure scalable architectures for geospatial workloads. -Exhibit solid Java development skills including object oriented design testing practices and debugging methods that are applied to build reliable geospatial processing components. -Show practical experience implementing Kafka based streaming or messaging solutions for real time data ingestion transformation and distribution of spatial or sensor information. -Display familiarity with agentic AI concepts and tools by configuring autonomous workflows or agents that perform complex analytical tasks on geospatial and related data. -Apply data analysis and problem solving skills to interpret spatial patterns and communicate findings in a clear manner to technical and business partners. -Maintain effective collaboration habits in hybrid teams by using digital communication and coordination practices that keep projects aligned and deliverables timely without travel. 9.
