Java Full Stack Lead
About the role
As a Java Full Stack Lead, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting modern authentication solutions leveraging FIDO2, WebAuthn, Passkeys, Biometrics, YubiKeys, and TOTP across web and mobile channels. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with software engineers, product owners, QA, and developers, and clients.

In this role, you will
- Develop end-to-end authentication journeys spanning front-end user experiences and backend authentication services.
- Build secure APIs and integrate with Ping Identity products, including PingID and PingFederate.
- Implement modern passwordless authentication flows based on WebAuthn standards, including passkeys and FIDO2.
- Deliver authentication experiences across both web and mobile channels using technologies such as Biometrics, YubiKeys, and TOTP.
- Collaborate with engineering and product partners to design and support enterprise identity and access management solutions.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Chandler, Arizona.

What you must have to be considered
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
- 5+ years of Identity and Access Management experience.
- 3+ years implementing FIDO2 and passwordless authentication.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience integrating with enterprise IAM platforms and Ping Identity products.
These will help you succeed
- Experience with one or more front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with modern passwordless authentication standards and biometric authentication technologies.
- Experience delivering mobile authentication solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $ 75,000 to $ 135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
