About the role
As a BI Lead (Helix), you will make an impact by translating complex business requirements into scalable dashboards, Helix golden queries, and actionable analytical insights that drive data-driven decision-making. You will be a valued member of the Business Intelligence team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams.
In this role, you will:
• Translate complex BI requirements into scalable Helix golden queries, optimized SQL solutions, data models, and actionable analytical insights.
• Translate business requirements into scalable dashboards and analytical insights that support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
• Deliver data migration, analytics, and reporting solutions using Tableau and Power BI.
• Apply Looker Semantic Layer Modeling and data governance practices, leveraging Atlan, to ensure trusted and well-governed reporting.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Houston, Texas.

What you need to have to be considered
• 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, and Data Visualization solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau (primary) and Power BI.
• Experience delivering data migration, analytics, and reporting solutions.
• Experience in Looker Semantic Layer Modeling.
• Good understanding of Atlan and data governance practices.
