Job Summary

Join a global technology organization as a programmer analyst trainee focused on automation and software quality working in a hybrid day shift model with no travel requirement. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to design and implement robust automation test scenarios that validate core application functionalities and support high quality delivery in a hybrid work environment
  • Develop and maintain structured test scripts using modern automation frameworks such as playwright to ensure repeatable validation of user flows across multiple releases
  • Execute functional and regression testing for web and api services to verify that system behavior aligns with business requirements and performance expectations
  • Analyze api responses to confirm data accuracy and error handling while documenting clear test evidence that supports efficient defect resolution
  • Identify defects uncovered during automation and api testing activities and report them with precise steps and impact assessments to help engineers diagnose issues quickly
  • Contribute to test data preparation for automated suites so that scenarios reflect realistic usage patterns and improve confidence in production readiness
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines by integrating automation scripts and monitoring test execution results for timely feedback to the team
  • Assist in refining test coverage by reviewing requirements and user stories to determine which scenarios should be automated for maximum value and efficiency
  • Participate in code and test case reviews to learn best practices for automation design maintainability and alignment with organizational standards
  • Coordinate with business and technology partners to clarify expected behavior of services and interfaces ensuring that test design supports reliable customer experiences
  • Document test approaches execution outcomes and known limitations using clear and structured reports that help stakeholders understand product readiness
  • Engage in learning opportunities to expand knowledge of automation frameworks api tools and automotive domain concepts so that contributions steadily increase in impact
  • Apply foundational understanding of automotive industry processes when applicable so that test scenarios reflect realistic operational conditions and promote safer technology outcomes


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of automation testing concepts including test scripting object identification and regression coverage using contemporary automation tools
  • Show basic hands on experience or academic exposure to playwright or similar frameworks for validating web user interfaces through automated scenarios
  • Exhibit familiarity with api testing approaches including sending requests validating responses and applying assertions using industry standard tools or libraries
  • Possess problem solving skills that enable careful analysis of test failures and systematic investigation of technical issues for clear documentation and follow up
  • Bring awareness of software development life cycle and agile practices to collaborate effectively with developers analysts and testers in an iterative delivery model
  • Display interest or exposure to automotive industry workflows such as vehicle systems or mobility solutions to better interpret relevant requirements when present
  • Communicate clearly in written and spoken form to share test findings ask clarifying questions and contribute to team discussions in a hybrid work setting


Certifications Required

ISTQB foundation level or equivalent software testing certification preferred for automation and api validation roles
