Job Summary

This hybrid Sr Software Engineer B2 role focuses on designing and delivering secure and scalable enterprise applications using Core Java Angular frameworks and dot Net technologies. The professional will translate complex requirements into high quality code while collaborating closely with cross functional teams in a day shift environment to improve digital payment experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Design robust and scalable backend services using Core Java to support high volume transaction processing in enterprise environments
  • Develop responsive and accessible single page applications using Angular frameworks to provide intuitive user experiences for business and consumer users
  • Implement secure and efficient API integrations between Java services and dot Net components to enable reliable data exchange across platforms
  • Optimize application performance by analyzing bottlenecks in Java and Angular code and applying tuning techniques that improve response times and resource usage
  • Create modular reusable and well documented components in Angular to accelerate future feature development and reduce maintenance overhead
  • Apply clean code practices and object oriented design principles in Java and dot Net to enhance maintainability testability and long term system resilience
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to peers to ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines
  • Collaborate with product owners architects and quality specialists to refine requirements and translate them into clear technical solutions and implementation plans
  • Participate in sprint planning estimation and hybrid team ceremonies to ensure realistic commitments and transparent progress reporting
  • Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests for Java Angular and dot Net modules to support continuous integration and reduce regression risk
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues by analyzing logs and metrics and implement durable fixes that prevent recurrence and protect customer trust
  • Contribute to secure coding practices by identifying vulnerabilities applying remediation patterns and aligning implementations with enterprise security policies
  • If assigned to cards and payments initiatives design and enhance payment flows that improve authorization reliability and customer experience while respecting regulatory expectations

    • Qualifications

  • Possess strong hands on expertise in Core Java including collections multithreading and enterprise integration patterns gained over several years of progressive engineering experience
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Angular including Angular JS and modern Angular versions up to recent releases with a focus on modular architecture and state management
  • Bring practical experience with dot Net application development and integration allowing effective collaboration across mixed technology stacks within large organizations
  • Exhibit familiarity with cards and payments domain concepts such as transaction lifecycles authorization flows and settlement processes as an added advantage
  • Show proven ability to work in hybrid delivery models coordinating effectively with onsite and remote stakeholders through clear and timely communication
  • Display solid understanding of secure coding data protection and compliance practices relevant to financial grade applications and customer sensitive information
  • Apply strong problem solving skills and debugging techniques to resolve issues quickly while minimizing impact on critical business processes and digital journeys

    • Certifications Required

    Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer and any recognized Angular or web development certification
