GCP Performance Engineer
Location: Parsippany – NJ (Hybrid- 3 days work from office)
Experience: 10+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance in GCP environments.
- Analyze latency, throughput, and resource utilization metrics.
- Support performance testing and workload validation activities.
- Assist in tuning BigQuery queries and AlloyDB database performance.
- Work with Cloud Monitoring dashboards and alerts.
- Identify CPU, memory, disk, and network bottlenecks.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with GCP services.
- Knowledge of BigQuery, AlloyDB, and Compute Engine.
- Basic Python programming and optimization techniques.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of performance testing concepts.
- Optimize Python, BQ, AlloyDB, AlloyDB, Pub/Sub Process

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000- $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
