Job Summary

This hybrid day shift role seeks an experienced Agent Fabric Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Service Fabric and fabric technologies to design implement and optimize reliable microservice based platforms that support core manufacturing and supply chain operations ensuring scalable performance operational resilience and alignment with enterprise standards for a leading global organization.


Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain robust Azure Service Fabric based platforms that reliably support critical manufacturing and supply chain applications ensuring high availability and predictable performance across hybrid environments.
  • Develop and optimize microservice architectures within Azure Service Fabric to streamline manufacturing workflows and supply chain transaction processing focusing on scalability fault tolerance and efficient resource utilization.
  • Implement and refine service orchestration and state management strategies within the fabric environment to stabilize complex production and logistics processes while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain process experts to translate operational requirements into resilient fabric based solutions that improve throughput traceability and end to end process visibility.
  • Monitor analyze and tune fabric cluster performance using advanced observability tools and metrics proactively addressing bottlenecks to enhance system responsiveness and reliability for business critical workloads.
  • Configure and enforce security controls identity management and access governance within fabric platforms to safeguard production data inventory information and supply chain transactions in line with enterprise policies.
  • Drive incident analysis and root cause remediation for fabric related issues implementing durable corrective actions to reduce recurrence and improve stability of manufacturing and logistics systems.
  • Coordinate with hybrid infrastructure and application teams to ensure seamless integration of fabric services with existing enterprise systems data platforms and automation solutions that support global operations.
  • Document fabric environments deployment patterns and operational runbooks in a clear manner enabling consistent support practices and efficient onboarding of engineering and operations partners.
  • Support release management and change implementation for fabric based services by defining deployment strategies validation steps and rollback procedures that protect uptime in manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Evaluate emerging capabilities in Azure Service Fabric and related cloud native technologies recommending practical enhancements that strengthen platform resilience and business continuity for production and distribution sites.
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to peers and cross functional partners on effective use of fabric patterns microservices and observability practices that elevate engineering standards across the organization.
  • Align day to day engineering activities with company sustainability and efficiency goals by enabling data driven optimization of manufacturing and supply chain flows through dependable fabric based platforms.


Qualifications

  • Possess approximately nine to twelve years of overall experience in engineering complex distributed systems including several years dedicated to designing and operating solutions built on Azure Service Fabric and fabric technologies.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in configuring fabric clusters implementing reliable microservices managing application lifecycles and applying resilience patterns suited to high volume manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • Apply deep domain understanding of manufacturing operations production planning inventory control and supply chain logistics to build fabric based solutions that reflect real world process constraints and regulatory expectations.
  • Exhibit strong capability in performance tuning capacity planning and observability for fabric platforms using metrics tracing and diagnostics to drive continuous improvement in system responsiveness and stability.
  • Show experience in hybrid work models and enterprise collaboration using structured communication and documentation to coordinate effectively with distributed teams operating production and logistics systems.
  • Utilize solid knowledge of secure engineering practices authentication models and data protection principles when designing fabric services that handle sensitive manufacturing and supply chain information.
  • Display a track record of working in day shift operational settings ensuring timely support for production schedules and supply chain events while adhering to defined service level expectations.


Certifications Required

Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate or equivalent cloud certification focused on distributed applications and microservices.
