Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role will be responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise standards, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.

· Architect solutions across Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), and other Salesforce Industry Cloud offerings.

· Analyze business requirements and map out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities to business processes while minimizing unnecessary customization.

· Design scalable and maintainable solutions leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Platform Events, Integration APIs, and Salesforce best practices.

· Define and implement enterprise integration architectures using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, middleware platforms, and event-driven integration patterns.

· Establish and govern Salesforce data architecture, security models, data governance frameworks, DevOps practices, and deployment strategies.

· Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, solution design workshops, and design authority sessions.

· Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to development, quality engineering, and delivery teams.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and program leadership to ensure successful solution delivery.

· Drive architecture governance, solution quality, scalability, security, and performance optimization across Salesforce implementations.

· Evaluate platform capabilities and recommend strategic solutions that support long-term business growth and digital transformation initiatives.


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years of Salesforce experience.

· Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Salesforce Architect delivering enterprise-scale implementations.

· Deep expertise in Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC).

· Strong hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Platform Events, and Salesforce integration capabilities.

· Experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware technologies, and event-driven architectures.

· Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, data modeling, governance, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

· Experience leading architecture workshops and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

· Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or System Architect certification.

· Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is highly preferred.

· MuleSoft certification is a plus.

· Experience working in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or other regulated industries.

· Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise transformation programs.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 100,000– $ 152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
