Job Summary

Content Automation Architect role for a global organization responsible for designing optimizing and maintaining scalable automation solutions using Ansible for hybrid work model operations. The architect will collaborate across technology and business teams to streamline content delivery workflows improve operational efficiency and support domain initiatives in Air Time Inventory while working standard day shifts without travel requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust automation architectures using Ansible to streamline content deployment workflows across hybrid work model environments ensuring reliable and repeatable operations that enhance overall platform stability and scalability.
  • Develop reusable Ansible playbooks and roles that standardize configuration management for content platforms reducing manual effort and operational risk while improving consistency and compliance across environments.
  • Optimize existing automation pipelines by analyzing performance bottlenecks and implementing improvements that reduce deployment time minimize errors and increase throughput for complex content automation scenarios.
  • Collaborate with product engineering and operations teams to translate business requirements into well defined automation solutions that support day shift operations and align with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Oversee environment readiness for content automation by coordinating with infrastructure and application stakeholders to ensure compatible configurations proper access controls and stable integration points for Ansible based workflows.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for Ansible usage including inventory management module selection error handling and testing strategies so teams can confidently maintain and extend automation assets over time.
  • Configure monitoring and alerting for automated processes to promptly identify failures or anomalies enabling rapid incident response that protects service availability and improves end user experience.
  • Integrate automation solutions with Air Time Inventory processes when applicable enabling more accurate scheduling faster content updates and improved utilization of inventory resources that support business growth and audience satisfaction.
  • Document automation designs operational procedures and troubleshooting guides in clear and accessible formats so cross functional teams can effectively support and evolve the content automation ecosystem.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of automation security posture including credential handling and access controls to align with enterprise security policies and protect sensitive content and configuration data.
  • Coordinate and execute controlled rollouts of new or enhanced automation capabilities during day shifts ensuring minimal business disruption and transparent communication with impacted stakeholders.
  • Mentor peers on automation concepts and Ansible techniques through demonstrations and knowledge sharing sessions fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in content operations.
  • Evaluate emerging tools and practices related to content automation and inventory management proposing enhancements that advance organizational efficiency reduce operational cost and deliver greater value to audiences and clients.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate five to eight years of experience designing and implementing automation solutions with substantial hands on expertise in Ansible for configuration management and orchestration in enterprise environments.
  • Possess strong understanding of content lifecycle management and operational processes for digital delivery platforms with the ability to translate workflow requirements into scalable automation patterns.
  • Bring experience or familiarity with Air Time Inventory concepts such as scheduling allocation and utilization enabling effective collaboration with domain experts and smoother integration of automation outcomes.
  • Exhibit proficiency in scripting and automation adjacent tools that complement Ansible capabilities supporting complex orchestration scenarios and advanced configuration routines.
  • Show capability to work in a hybrid model with effective communication and coordination across remote and onsite teams during day shifts while managing priorities and deadlines responsibly.
  • Apply solid analytical and problem solving skills to diagnose automation issues design corrective actions and prevent recurrence through improved patterns and resilient configurations.


Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent automation and DevOps certification.
