About the role
- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consulting Manager - Senior Business Analyst to join our Capital Markets Consulting practice. In this role, you will support large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives focused on fixed income, government securities, and capital markets operations. You will work closely with client stakeholders, business leaders, and technology teams to assess current-state environments, define future-state capabilities, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive modernization outcomes.
In this role, you will:
· Lead discovery, assessment, and modernization initiatives by analyzing business processes, operating models, systems, and supporting technologies.
· Conduct business analysis activities including requirements elicitation, process mapping, capability assessments, gap analyses, and business impact evaluations.
· Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to gather requirements, identify challenges, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
· Develop current-state and future-state process models, business requirements, functional specifications, and executive-ready deliverables.
· Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements that enable solution design, implementation, and transformation success.
· Partner with business, operations, and technology teams to ensure proposed solutions align with strategic objectives and program goals.
· Support large-scale technology modernization and platform transformation programs by identifying business impacts, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
· Apply expertise in fixed income products, securities servicing, settlement, and lifecycle processes to drive business and technology initiatives.
· Prepare presentations, findings summaries, process documentation, and client-facing materials for executive and stakeholder audiences.
· Present recommendations and insights to project teams and leadership while consistently demonstrating Cognizant's commitment to client success, collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence.

- What you must have to be considered
· 12+ years of consulting, business analysis, or industry experience within Fixed Income, Government Securities, Capital Markets, or related financial services environments.
· Experience supporting large-scale system modernization, transformation, platform implementation, or operating model transformation initiatives.
· Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies includes requirements gathering, process mapping, business capability assessments, and gap analysis.
· Solid understanding of fixed income products and securities lifecycle processes, including servicing, settlement, and operational workflows.
· Demonstrated experience eliciting, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements.
· Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving business requirements.
· Experience working in complex programs involving multiple business and technology stakeholders.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders and leadership teams.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
· U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust or equivalent government clearance.
These will help you succeed
· Experience supporting discovery, assessment, or modernization consulting engagements.
· Knowledge of government securities markets and regulated financial services environments.
· Experience with mainframe modernization, platform replacement, or legacy system transformation initiatives.
· Familiarity with commercial financial platforms and enterprise solutions is integrated with legacy environments.
· Experience developing current-state and future-state process documentation and operating models.
· Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
· Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and workshop leadership skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced consulting environment.
· Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Compensation
- The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 and $140,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
