Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high quality responsive web applications using CSS HTML JavaScript and React that support complex investment banking operations and deliver an intuitive experience for internal and external users.
  • Lead end to end implementation of front end features from technical design through coding testing and deployment ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and regulatory expectations for investment banking and brokerage platforms.
  • Collaborate with product owners business analysts and operations stakeholders to translate investment banking and brokerage requirements into clear technical solutions that enhance trade processing client servicing and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance to developers on best practices in React component design state management performance optimization and secure coding to maintain a robust and maintainable front end codebase.
  • Review code and technical designs to ensure consistent use of reusable patterns accessibility standards security controls and effective error handling aligned with organizational policies and industry expectations.
  • Coordinate with backend and infrastructure teams to define clean interfaces optimize data flows and ensure seamless integration between front end services and core banking systems in a hybrid work environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing production issues user feedback and performance metrics then implementing incremental enhancements that reduce manual work and support accurate and timely investment banking operations.
  • Manage day to day development activities including estimation sprint planning task prioritization and progress tracking to deliver high impact features within agreed timelines in a day shift schedule without travel requirements.
  • Ensure robust testing practices by defining unit integration and regression test approaches and by working closely with quality teams to validate functionality reliability and compliance for investment banking and brokerage workflows.
  • Document technical designs key architectural decisions and deployment procedures in a clear and accessible manner to support knowledge sharing onboarding and long term maintenance of front end solutions.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance specialists to apply secure coding standards protect client data and support alignment with relevant regulations impacting investment banking platforms.
  • Engage with operations and support teams to analyze production incidents troubleshoot user facing issues and implement preventive measures that improve system stability and service continuity.
  • Participate in innovation and modernization initiatives such as refactoring legacy front end modules migrating to modern React patterns and introducing automation that enhances productivity and user satisfaction across the organization.

    • Qualifications

  • possess a strong foundation in CSS HTML JavaScript and React with demonstrated experience delivering complex front end solutions for enterprise scale applications within a minimum of five years and a maximum of eight years of overall development experience.
  • demonstrate practical understanding of responsive design cross browser compatibility performance optimization and accessibility to ensure inclusive and efficient user experiences across devices and environments.
  • exhibit experience working in hybrid models and collaborating across distributed teams using modern collaboration tools to maintain productivity and communication in a global corporate environment.
  • apply knowledge of investment banking operations investment banking and brokerage domains as a nice to have skill to better interpret business processes such as trade lifecycle management and client servicing needs.
  • show familiarity with modern front end tooling such as build systems testing frameworks and version control platforms to support reliable delivery and maintain high code quality.
  • display strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues in complex system interactions and propose clear pragmatic solutions that align to business goals.
  • communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders by explaining design decisions risks and trade offs in simple language that supports informed decision making and collaborative outcomes.
