Job Summary

Lead Developer role in a multinational organization responsible for designing developing and optimizing complex front end applications using JavaScript and Angular for investment banking and brokerage platforms. The role involves collaborating across hybrid teams during day shifts to deliver secure scalable solutions that enhance client experiences and operational efficiency across global markets.


Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end design and implementation of complex front end features using JavaScript and Angular to deliver responsive and high performing interfaces for investment banking and brokerage applications.
  • Coordinate with product owners and hybrid team members to translate functional requirements into detailed technical solutions that support accurate trade processing and portfolio management workflows.
  • Implement reusable component architectures and state management patterns that simplify code maintenance and improve long term scalability of client facing trading and reporting tools.
  • Optimize application performance by profiling front end code reducing latency and fine tuning rendering behavior to support high volume market data and transaction activities.
  • Enforce secure coding practices and robust error handling in JavaScript and Angular modules to protect sensitive financial information and ensure continuous system reliability.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to define efficient data contracts and integrate APIs that enable smooth communication between trading systems risk engines and client dashboards.
  • Review and refine existing code bases by conducting structured code reviews identifying technical debt and guiding improvements that elevate overall engineering quality standards.
  • Mentor developers on modern Angular patterns testing strategies and modular design approaches to build a consistent engineering culture focused on quality and sustainability.
  • Coordinate hybrid working schedules and communication practices to ensure seamless collaboration across onsite and remote team members supporting day shift operations.
  • Align front end application design with regulatory and compliance expectations relevant to investment banking operations to support accurate reporting and audit readiness.
  • Analyze production incidents impacting trading or settlement journeys identify root causes in front end flows and implement targeted fixes that prevent recurrence and improve user trust.
  • Document application architectures coding standards and deployment procedures in clear technical references to streamline onboarding and cross team collaboration.
  • Contribute domain aware enhancements that improve usability for operations and brokerage users by incorporating workflows familiar to investment banking environments.

  • Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in JavaScript and Angular frameworks by building complex front end modules that support high reliability financial applications.
  • Apply solid understanding of web application performance optimization to deliver responsive experiences that remain stable under heavy market data and transaction loads.
  • Utilize experience with hybrid work models to maintain effective communication rhythms and collaboration practices across distributed engineering and product teams.
  • Draw on exposure to investment banking operations to design user journeys that reflect trade life cycles settlements reconciliations and risk reporting needs.
  • Leverage knowledge of investment banking and brokerage concepts to build interfaces that clearly present positions orders executions and client portfolio views.
  • Maintain strong problem solving capabilities and debugging skills for front end applications using tools and strategies that quickly isolate issues in complex environments.
  • Exhibit consistent focus on software craftsmanship through clean code practices unit testing and maintainable modular designs that reduce long term support overhead.
  • Embrace continuous learning by staying current with Angular ecosystem updates JavaScript standards and emerging patterns that enhance product robustness and security.
