Job summary
This role as a technology specialist focuses on designing developing and optimizing enterprise grade applications using Java and Hibernate in a hybrid work model. The specialist will analyze complex business requirements create robust solutions and enhance existing platforms to improve performance scalability and reliability while aligning with organizational standards and supporting sustainable innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust server side components using Java and Hibernate to deliver reliable business functionality that supports scalable enterprise solutions
- Optimize application performance by fine tuning Hibernate mappings and queries to ensure efficient data access and responsive user experiences across critical business workflows
- Collaborate with cross functional product and engineering teams to translate technical and non technical requirements into well structured Java application designs that align with organizational standards
- Develop and maintain clean modular and testable code in Java ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and best practices to support long term maintainability of core platforms
- Configure and manage Hibernate persistence layers including entity relationships transaction handling and caching strategies to improve data integrity and reduce latency in production systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects in Java and Hibernate based applications by performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes that prevent recurrence
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to provide constructive feedback share best practices in Java and Hibernate development and uplift overall team proficiency
- Create and maintain technical documentation for application architecture data models and integration points to enable clear knowledge sharing and smoother onboarding of future team members
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to define test scenarios automate key flows and validate Java and Hibernate components so that releases meet reliability and compliance expectations
- Support deployment activities in a hybrid work model by collaborating with operations teams to ensure stable rollout of Java services and structured monitoring of application health
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging Java frameworks and Hibernate enhancements and recommending pragmatic adoption paths that align with organizational goals
- Guide peers on effective use of Hibernate features such as criteria based queries and batch operations to improve efficiency in handling large data sets across business applications
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand evolving functional needs and propose Java based solutions that enhance customer experiences and deliver measurable value to society through improved digital services
Qualifications
- Demonstrate professional experience between six and nine years in designing and developing Java applications with significant exposure to complex enterprise environments
- Apply deep knowledge of Hibernate including mapping strategies caching mechanisms and transaction management to create stable and efficient persistence layers for business critical systems
- Use strong skills in object oriented programming and core Java concepts such as collections concurrency and exception handling to build resilient software components
- Bring practical experience with relational databases and structured query design to support Hibernate integration and ensure accurate reliable data operations within applications
- Show familiarity with hybrid work models by effectively collaborating using digital tools coordinating with distributed teams and maintaining consistent productivity across remote and office settings
- Exhibit proficiency with modern development practices including version control unit testing and continuous integration to sustain software quality and predictable delivery cycles
- Possess strong analytical abilities to evaluate complex technical issues articulate solution options and recommend approaches that balance performance scalability and maintainability for enterprise systems
- Display clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders gather actionable feedback and ensure alignment between technology solutions and organizational objectives
- Present experience working in day shift environments supporting business stakeholders during standard hours and aligning development activities with key operational timelines
- Demonstrate awareness of secure coding practices in Java and responsible data handling with Hibernate to protect sensitive information and support trustworthy digital services for customers
- Maintain adaptability to learn new frameworks tools and architectural approaches in the Java ecosystem and apply them judiciously to enhance platform capabilities over time
- Show commitment to collaborative problem solving by working closely with peers testers and operations specialists to resolve incidents quickly and sustain high availability of applications
