About the role

As a Sterling B2B Business Analyst, you will make an impact by driving end-to-end B2B/EDI integration initiatives, including partner onboarding, mapping, and production support. You will be a valued member of the Integration and EDI team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, trading partners, development teams, and infrastructure teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end trading partner onboarding, including requirements gathering and partner setup.

  • Create and maintain EDI and non-EDI mapping documents (X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, SAP IDoc).

  • Coordinate and execute end-to-end EDI testing with trading partners and business teams.

  • Design and develop Sterling Integrator business processes and partner integrations.

  • Provide production support, including monitoring, incident analysis, and SLA-based resolution.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway.

  • Expertise in EDI and non-EDI mappings (X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, positional files, SAP IDoc).

  • Experience in trading partner onboarding, connectivity setup, and certificate management.

  • Proficiency in communication protocols such as AS2, AS4, SFTP, FTP, HTTP/S, and Connect:Direct.

  • Strong knowledge of Sterling Business Process modeling and map development.


These will help you stand out

  • Familiar with SAP IDoc integrations in enterprise environments.

  • Strong analytical and requirement gathering skills in B2B/EDI environments.

  • Hands-on experience with production support, monitoring tools, and log analysis.

  • Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams for releases and deployments.

  • Experience handling large-scale trading partner ecosystems.


Work model:
Must be willing to work out of a Cognizant office in Canada periodically.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73,350 – 94,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
