Digital Strategist
Digital Strategist to support digital strategy and concept development for a portfolio of business solutions. The role focuses on research, strategic analysis, synthesis of complex inputs, and rapid visualization of ideas into clear narratives and artifacts that can be used for decision-making and communication.
Objectives
∙ Provide high-quality research and strategic inputs to shape and refine digital strategies, roadmaps, and investment narratives.
∙ Quickly build an end-to-end understanding of complex problem spaces (“the bigger picture”) and translate them into clear, actionable concepts.
∙ Visualize ideas, concepts, and operating models in a way that accelerates alignment and decisions.
Scope of Work / Key Tasks
∙ Research & synthesis: Conduct desk research, benchmark practices, and synthesize findings into concise insights, options, and recommendations.
∙ Strategy development: Support the development of strategy artifacts (e.g., problem statements, vision, principles, target outcomes, capability maps, strategic themes, and roadmaps).
∙ Big-picture analysis: Analyze complex ecosystems (stakeholders, processes, data, and technology) to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities.
∙ Concepting & storytelling: Turn complex topics into clear narratives, executive-ready summaries, and structured decision materials.
∙ Visualization: Create high-quality visual representations such as frameworks, journey maps, service blueprints, process flows, operating models, and roadmaps using
Deliverables
∙ Research briefs and benchmarking summaries (slide or memo format).
∙ Draft and refined strategy decks suitable for executive audiences.
∙ Visual artifacts (e.g., capability maps, target-state diagrams, roadmaps, process flows, concept models).
∙ Workshop materials (agendas, pre-reads).
Required Qualifications
∙ Proven experience in digital strategy, business/technology strategy, product strategy, consulting, or a similar role focused on research-to-strategy work.
∙ Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex topics and produce clear, structured outputs with minimal supervision.
∙ Strong analytical skills, including ability to synthesize ambiguous inputs into actionable recommendations.
∙ Excellent writing and presentation skills; ability to produce executive-ready materials.
Tools and Visualization Skills
∙ Advanced PowerPoint skills, including creating clean and consistent visual narratives.
∙ Ability to visualize concepts using tools such as Visio, Miro, and/or Mural (or equivalent).
∙ Comfort working with structured documentation and collaborating in shared workspaces.
