Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to design build and support solutions on the FIS Profile core banking platform. In this role you will own complex technical deliverables end to end translating business and regulatory requirements into robust high-performance code while mentoring other engineers and serving as a subject-matter expert on the Profile stack.
Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain core banking functionality on the FIS Profile platform including deposits CDs loans and loan syndication modules.
Build and enhance application logic using Profile Scripting Language (PSL) and the Java Spring front end ensuring high availability and real-time performance.
Develop and optimize data access against the MUMPS/GTM NoSQL database including data models queries and integration routines.
Implement and support payment and card processing flows (ACH or equivalent payment framework credit/debit cards).
Translate business US tax and financial-regulatory requirements into compliant well-tested technical solutions.
Troubleshoot production issues perform root-cause analysis and deliver durable fixes within defined SLAs.
Conduct code reviews define technical standards and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Collaborate with product business analysts and QA to scope estimate and deliver releases.
Hands-on experience with the FIS Profile core banking platform.
Proficiency in Profile Scripting Language (PSL).
Strong Java and Spring development for the Profile front end.
Experience with MUMPS / GTM and NoSQL data stores.
